

Thing is, I only see ONE HID compliant game controller in my device manager, so I don't really know where to go from there. So I suspect there are some drivers still lingering around and are most likely still enabled, which could be causing the problem.


And hearing that makes sense to me because i've used 3 different Xbox controllers (360 wired, Xbox One wired, Xbox One Elite wired) with my PC. Well supposedly, the solution involves disabling the correct HID compliant game controller in device manager to get it working properly without all the game breaking problems. The game won't load elements correctly, quest progression is utterly broken (until you Alt-Tab in and out), sometimes the game will just crash on startup, ect. Basically, for those who do not know, when using an Xbox controller (i've read that people experience these issues with other brands too) to play FC4, there are NUMEROUS game breaking problems. Alright, I've tried to fix this issue numerous times to no avail.
