Let me show you a few examples of maps created with Vancano's Map Generator. It's the same skill you learnt as a 4 year old, only this time you don't need to stay inside the lines. You don't need to be an artist, the plugin deals with that, all you need is imagination and the ability to paint a block of colour on a page. It's a Photoshop plugin that guides you through creating a map using the colours and techniques I use in my own maps. Vancano's Map Generator can help you create that experience.

Then you ask “Where would you like to explore next?” Your group are drawn into the story you're telling them. You talk about trade and the people who live there, as well as a few mischievous characters. You lean over and begin to share the story of a city on the outskirts of a lake. A few hours from now you're sat at a table with your role playing group and in their hands they hold the outline of a map you've created.
